1967 Homecoming Reunion Gathering
1-5 p.m. Stop by, say hello and let us know you're here. Enjoy refreshments and lively conversation with your classmates. Your host will be Audrey (Koehler) Peterson '67. Audrey will be in the Presidents Room in Brantly Hall to greet and chat with you.
1:30 p.m. Walking tour of campus (optional) with UM’s director of marketing and outreach, Jed Liston, serving as your tour guide. We anticipate the tour will take less than 90 minutes. There will be various receptions at individual colleges on campus that you may want to attend after the tour. We will include a list in a future email.
4:00 p.m. FRIDAY AT FOUR! We're bringing back the “folk-singin’” good times we loved at the Lodge, but have added a no-host bar and some munchies. Bring your musical instruments, memories and voices! Your emcee will be Leslie Griffin (Lawson). Presidents Room in Brantly Hall.
5:30 p.m. Distinguished Alumni Awards Panel/Ceremony and Reception. Beverages and heavy appetizers will be available. DAA panel will be first, followed by the awards ceremony, winding up with the reception. Event held in the University Ballroom in the University Center Ballroom.
7:00 p.m. All Alumni Social with the UM Marching Band at 9 p.m., Holiday Inn Downtown Missoula. Cash bar. Look for the "Class of 1967" sign, where we hope you'll find more of your "Old College Chums"!
8:00 p.m. Yell Night Pep Rally, Singing on the Steps, Fireworks and Lighting of the M on the Oval in front of Main Hall.
Breakfast on your own
10:00 a.m. UM Homecoming Parade begins along Higgins and Broadway (anyone want to do a float?)
11:00 a.m. All-Alumni Tailgate, Lot 2 in River Bowl North. The Class of 1967 will have a designated seating area (tailgate start time will be determined once the kick-off time is announced. NCAA regulations allow for a two-hour tailgating period prior to the beginning of the game). $10 will get you in the tailgate for a tasty lunch and beverages. We do not have Homecoming game tickets available for the Class of 1967 to purchase. The Alumni tailgate area will be set up throughout the game (even though the beer will be shut down) so you can be part of the atmosphere. You and your fellow alums are welcome to stay and visit in the tailgate area if you're not attending the game.
Spouses, significant others and guests are welcome to attend!
