UMAA Scholarship

About

The University of Montana Alumni Association serves not only current alumni but future alums as well.  One of the ways we do this is by offering the Legacy Scholarship.  This award, given to one student annually, is awarded to an individual who represents a continuation of the UM tradition.

To be eligible for this scholarship award, one of the applicant’s parents or grandparents must have attended, but need not have graduated from, The University of Montana.

Interested students may fill out the application online.  In addition to basic personal information, the application asks for a current transcript, a resume listing extracurricular activities and an essay addressing the question “What has been your most rewarding campus or community contribution while at The University of Montana?”

To be eligible, students must have attained junior status (60 credits earned by the beginning of the Fall 2010 semester) and have full-time status for the 2010-2011 academic year.

The application process for the 2010 Scholarship is now closed. Thank you.

If you have questions about the scholarship, please contact Susan Cuff at 243-5211 or susan.cuff@umontana.edu.
