The University of Montana Alumni Association presents several recognitions and awards throughout the year. These awards include the 25 Under 25 Award, Community Service Award, Distinguished Alumni Award, Grizzly of the Last Decade and the UMAA Legacy Scholarship.
25 Under 25
Annually awarded to 25 alumni — ages 25 or younger — who have made a remarkable impact in the early days of their career, community or beyond.
Community Service Award
Presented to alumni and friends of UM from Montana and neighboring states for their outstanding service and commitment to their respective communities and to the University itself.
Distinguished Alumni Award
Recipients of the award are individuals who have distinguished themselves in a particular field and who have brought honor to the University, the state or nation.
Grizzly of the Last Decade
An award that honors outstanding alumni who have graduated within the last decade.
UMAA Legacy Scholarship
Awarded to upper-class students annually who represent a continuation of the UM tradition.
